Hi, my name is Anna Harcharik. I am a graduate student at Lewis University in the Mental Health Counseling program and am an intern at Life Counseling Institute. I believe that building a strong relationship with each client is an essential first step in therapy. Everyone, at some point in life, faces difficulties that seem impossible, and these times are often unpredictable.
I feel honored to hear my clients’ stories and be there for them to share their deepest needs, wounds, pain, and desires. From these places, some of the most beautiful experiences, connections, and relationships can develop. I believe that we all need someone to talk with and to understand us. I view counseling as an active, collaborative relationship that involves hard work, humor, and spontaneity as we work together as a team to accomplish your personal goals.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and two dogs. I love to attend my children’s activities, practice yoga, and read.
Anna is passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families find relief from emotional distress and be able to live their lives to the fullest. She works with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, and stress. Anna is a member of the Illinois Counseling Association. In addition to offering day and evening appointments, she also sees clients on Saturdays and Sundays.
