Professional Summary

Hi there! I’m Zuly Ramirez, a licensed clinical professional counselor and Assistant Clinical Director here at Life Counseling Institute. I am dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment where clients can feel heard, understood, and validated. I understand that seeking therapy can be daunting, and I strive to create a space where clients feel comfortable and empowered to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

I have experience working with children, teens, adults, and couples, and I am committed to providing personalized care that meets the unique needs of each individual. My areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, parenting, autism spectrum disorders, and ADHD. My focus is to utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), emotionally focused therapy (EFT), and play therapy to help clients overcome their challenges and achieve their goals.

In my work with children and teens, I employ a variety of creative and play-based techniques to engage and connect with young clients. I work closely with parents and caregivers to provide support and guidance as they navigate the challenges of raising children and adolescents.

For couples, my focus is on improving communication and connection between partners, building emotional intimacy, and helping couples navigate through difficult transitions such as separation, divorce, or blended family dynamics.

In addition to my work as a therapist, I also enjoy listening to audiobooks, practicing yoga, as well as crafting in my free time. I believe that taking care of ourselves is an important part of overall wellness, and I encourage my clients to find activities that bring them joy and relaxation.

Thank you for considering me as your therapist. I look forward to working with you and supporting you on your journey towards healing and growth.
