Professional Summary

Hello and thank you for considering us on your journey toward healing and growth. I’m Zuly Ramirez, a licensed clinical professional counselor and Assistant Clinical Director here at Life Counseling Institute, a dedicated therapist with a passion for supporting individuals of all ages (adults, teens, and children alike), as well as working with couples.

My approach is rooted in empathy, respect, and collaboration. Whether you’re navigating complex emotions, seeking to strengthen your relationships, or simply striving for personal development, my goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where you can explore and address your concerns.

I offer a range of therapeutic techniques tailored to meet your unique needs, such as trauma-informed cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), and play therapy. Together, we’ll work on understanding your experiences, building resilience, and fostering meaningful change. I understand that your concerns can be overwhelming and often impacts various aspects of life, from daily functioning to personal relationships.

In my work with children and teens, I employ a variety of creative and play-based techniques to engage and connect with young clients. I work closely with parents and caregivers to provide support and guidance as they navigate the challenges of raising children and adolescents.

For couples, utilizing emotionally focused therapy (EFT) my focus is on improving communication and connection between partners, building emotional intimacy, and helping couples navigate through difficult transitions such as separation, divorce, or blended family dynamics.

Everyone’s journey is different, and I’m here to walk alongside you every step of the way. If you’re ready to begin or if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and support you in achieving your goals.
