Professional Summary

Hi! My name is Mindy Rothman and I’m a licensed clinical professional counselor. I believe that every individual has their own rich life full of personal experiences that shape who they are, and I am excited to get to know you! The relationship I share with my clients is incredibly important, and I want to ensure that you feel validated, safe, and seen for who you are. In this shared space, you aren’t just someone’s parent, significant other, child, sibling, employee…. you get to be you, just as you are.

My clients come to me with a wide array of life stressors, and together we will work to reduce those while increasing your innate resiliency and strength. My approach is person-centered, which means that you know yourself best, and you are the expert in your own life. I believe that we all have the power to heal and change, but sometimes we can use a little support.

You’ve already taken a huge first step just by being here! I look forward to getting to know you and would be honored to share part of your journey with you.

In my free time, I enjoy solo traveling and exploring different cultures, reading, hiking, and spending time with my two sweet kittens, Sophie and Pepper.

Mindy works primarily with adults, couples and teens. She has experience working with anxiety, grief, and depression in children, teens, and adults, as well as working with LGBTQ+ individuals. She also has experience facilitating therapeutic processing groups. Additionally, Mindy has received her certification in couples and family counseling.
