Professional Summary

Hi there! My name is Rebecca Dorich and I am a licensed clinical professional counselor and child therapist. I work primarily with children, adolescents, and young adults and see adults as well.

Congratulations on taking the first step in finding a counselor for yourself or your child. Therapy can be a difficult decision but brings so many benefits. Life holds many challenges which can make success and happiness feel difficult or near impossible. I take pride in working with you to help balance those struggles with your strengths in order to help you succeed. I believe clients benefit from an empathic therapeutic relationship, and I strive to create a welcoming environment where you can feel comfortable and heard.

Have you noticed yourself or your child feeling unmotivated, avoiding things they once loved, struggling to fit in socially or academically in school? I work with patients with life transitions, anxiety, social anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and much more. Each person has their own struggle as well as their own path to success, and I’d like to help you find your path!

I also have training in sport and health psychology, as well as experience working with high school and college level athletes. In order to reach their full athletic potential, athletes benefit from mental training to improve their thought patterns, goals, cope with injury, visualize success, and manage life transitions. I can help you strengthen your mentality to improve your sport performance and find success!
