Professional Summary

Welcome! My name is Hannah Munns (she/her) and I’m an associate licensed marriage and family therapist at Life Counseling Institute. I provide counseling to couples, families, and individuals of all ages.

I strive to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive space for clients to navigate through life’s challenges. Whether you’re taking this step to find a therapist individually or as part of a couple or family, I’m here to stand by you through whatever challenges you’re experiencing and to help empower you to reach your goals.

In my approach to therapy, I bring together a blend of qualities like warmth, kindness, curiosity, and compassion to create a supportive and understanding environment. I’m a firm believer that there isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution in therapy, and that’s why I take an individualized approach for every client I work with.

My practice is informed by systems theory, which helps us understand how different parts of your life, like relationships, experiences, and emotions, are interconnected and influence each other. This holistic perspective allows us to uncover new insights into whatever challenges you may be facing and begin working to build the skills and tools needed to achieve your goals.

Together, we can collaboratively pave the way for growth and transformation within yourself and your family. I look forward to meeting you and beginning our journey together!

Hannah has a master’s degree in couple and family therapy and is Gottman 1 level certified. Hannah has experience working with relationship issues, family conflict, life transitions, infidelity, sexual issues, and anxiety. She also has experience working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community, including couples and families.
