Hello! My name is Katie Wagner and I hope to work with you on any difficult transitions or challenges you may be facing. I know that therapy can make you feel vulnerable or overwhelmed. It is my goal for you to feel comfortable and safe while we focus on ways to improve your day to day life. I listen to what you hope to achieve and use evidence-based treatment to meet those goals.
During therapy, we can explore how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected and work to develop healthy thought patterns. I use a strengths-based approach, focusing on what your personal strengths are and adding skills to build upon them. Often people do not realize the amount of resilience and strength they already have that they can harness during difficult times. Through encouragement and guidance, I strive to make you feel empowered, hopeful, and able to live your best life.
Katie works with individuals and couples. Katie has received advanced training in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders through Postpartum Support International. Her focus is on helping people dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, mood disorders, life transitions, and serious mental illness.
