Professional Summary
Hi! My name is Grace Brunton and I am a Master’s level therapist at Life Counseling Institute.
Deciding to start therapy is a brave choice. It can feel incredibly vulnerable and scary, and it can be difficult to find a person who you feel comfortable enough to work with. Whether it is your first time going or your tenth time, I am honored to be a part of your journey and to support you.
My approach is trauma-informed and justice-oriented. Striving to be rooted in compassion and integrity, I believe in the importance of establishing an environment where someone feels safe enough to show up as their authentic selves. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with anxiety and mental health concerns, neurodivergent youth, and individuals coping with trauma and social inequity. I use practices like play therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness/somatic based therapy in order to provide care that is both individually and culturally responsive to each unique person.
If you think we would be a good fit, please feel free to reach out! I am excited to meet you and work with you!
Grace works with kids, teens, and adults. She has experience working with anxiety, depression, life transitions, neurodivergent youth, and behavioral and social issues. Grace sees clients in our Willowbrook and Park Ridge therapy offices and also offers online therapy throughout Illinois.
